I value the Code 1 because it carries the Black Pepper philosophy into a more complete and capable form. It has the visual intelligence of a classic yacht, but beneath that surface sits a thoroughly modern carbon performance cruiser: light, stiff, technically serious and deliberately individual. My advisory role is to help a client decide whether the Code 1 is the right Black Pepper for the way they intend to sail and own.
